WebFeb 12, 2024 · The installed meter is an EDMI MK10D three phase meter. The technical factsheet for this meter says it is a smart meter. I am about to have solar panels installed. I need to be sure that I am only charged for net electricity consumption when I am generating power. I also need to know if E.ON Next can recognise and pay for exported energy. If you have an electricity dual rate smart meter, press and release the blue display button and this will show rate two. For gas smart meters, press and hold the red button A for 5-10 seconds, this will then display ‘Credit ON’.

I have just sent a manual reading but obviously this needs sorting. Also, I don't seem to be able to view any bills. Previously, with eon, I was able to view the 'paper' bill online.
