WebbInkscape comes with a couple of preset patterns. To apply them to an object, you need to: select the object on the canvas open the Fill and Stroke dialog, and in the Fill (or Stroke paint) tab, click on the icon for patterns You will then see a dropdown menu with many pattern names. WebbThen, select the pattern and do Objects->Pattern->Objects To Pattern And finally, selecting the rectangle object, go to the "Fill and Stroke" panel and choose the new pattern The problem is, it doesn't work as expected... Instead of perfectly connecting, there is this 1 pixel transparent line around each "tile" of the filled object.
