WebFeb 15, 2015 · I too am looking to buy a GR8 half top for my 97 TJ. My understanding for the roll bar issue is I would have to cut off the rear kicker portion but the front part just behind seats and the connector to windshield would not be affected. My plan was to cut rear portion slide on the top and then reconnect using a inter liner tube and some bolts.
